TCP and UDP Port 44488

I just noticed a lot of port scanning against my network for TCP 44488 and UDP 44488. A quick Google search brought up a service called BackupStream with instructions on how to open that port on various firewalls. While most of the site appears to be intact, the home link to index.php brings up a 404 error. Accessing the domain directly brings up an index.htm file consisting of an image of a school house with "School's Out!" written across it. Trial forms and purchase pages aren't functional. Nobody has updated the copyright notices on the site's footers since 2006, and there aren't any phone numbers I can find to contact them about these events. The last home page I can find at archive.org shows a date of July 9, 2007. If there are any remaining users out there or former users, they may want to check their firewalls to make sure that port is closed.
