I Like Adobe's Flash Update Mechanism

I don't want to be that person who just points out the problems with things. I want to point out when things are done right. Adobe's Flash updating software is simple, straightforward, and doesn't make me uncheck boxes for a bunch of crap I don't want installed. There were a total of two check boxes. I can't remember exactly what the first one said, but the second was the usual check to accept license terms. There weren't any extra tool bars being added to my browsers or those of the users I support at my day job (I'm looking at you Sun/Oracle). They didn't push some security scanner on me (though they do try that with Acrobat Reader). As long as my browser is closed, the update just works.

So thank you, Adobe, for getting this right.

(And thank you for having a Linux version of Flash, too.)
